Our bitterness this drug to feed,
As one more journey, this tiny little seed,
As first steps are taken this place to leave,
This passing place, this blackness to grieve,
In darkness I can be alone,
In this cage, I can find my home,
In my peace this inner sanctum, I am free to say,

One day things may be entirely as I seek,
Into my inner mind’s eye, my future I peek,
If you look you must surely find,
Light in this darkness, food for the blind,
