Black Her Eyes Poem by lauren blood

Black Her Eyes

and tears fall down her face and black her eyes she looks around afraid someone would hear her cries
helpless and hopeless she’s so lost
her life is dwelling away and she’s to pay the cost
time goes by her days seem so dreary
her heart is cold her soul so weary
help this fragile soul help this poor girl
face such a cruel selfish world
her heart is faraway from this life she lives
her soul her life she gives
away to the world
such a sad little girl
stuck in this place that grieves her so
when will it be her time to finally go?
Feeling and dealing
Her life’s is falling away reeling
To a cold place with bear walls
heartless tone he calls
death comes slow for this poor little girl
slowly she waits day after day
she has gone mad some say
and day after day
she waits to go away
slowly and surely the light has come for this little girl
and fading behind her was this selfish world
they greet her with arms wide open the black memories fading away
light upon light is what she may
see
death is who she may be
a fragile soul caught in a cruel world
our life our soul our poor little girl.
