Peaceful Shells Poem by lauren blood

Peaceful Shells

Peaceful waves calming breeze brings out the strength in me
I whisper wishes of lost love of hope of a dream
What makes this place so full so un hollow
I wonder when I leave this place could the peace ever follow
A shadow in my wake
A pleasing sound a memory I make
The sea is far behind me as I depart
The tears fall down my face before I even start
I have to leave the sea far behind
The shell in my hand a calling of another time
I had to leave the wonder of the sea
So I brought the shell home with me
A part of the sea taken away
Like me doomed another day
away
