Bitterness Poem by Kevin Cox

Bitterness

Don't make a place
For bitterness.
Don't make a place
For fear.
Let not your heart
Be troubled.
Your mind keep
Always clear
Nurture a
quiet spirit
Make room
In your heart
For love.
A good friend's
always faithful
Sent from the
One above.
Take time to
see the beauty
That surrounds you
Every day.
Be a glad and happy
person.
Help a stranger
On the way.
Live well each
Passing moment
For t'will never
Come again.
Finish strong and
with good courage.
Ever faithful
To the end.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This entirely ignores the reality of continual suffering in life. Itls just a word of hope in season. Bitterness's roots grow so profusely they choke any joy or happiness that might otherwise occur.
