Before Going West Poem by Hebert Logerie

Before Going West

Be very careful before going west
Make sure that you are at your best
And be very prudent before heading east
The wind is about to blow up a masterpiece.

Be smart and vigilant when you're in the south
The sneaky bees hate poor people with a loud mouth
Please stop dreaming, it is not better in the north
The roaming flimflammers make things incredibly rough.

Remember the infamous Jim Jones of Guyana
Remember the self-built compound in Eldorado
Remember the Branch Davidians near Waco.

Be careful not to follow any popular false prophets
Stay away from any jazzy seeresses or snazzy sibyls
Who sniff cocaine or smoke a gigantic ganja.
