It seems as if those bees bear no common sense
Of late they have built a hive in a cornice of my house
I know not what prompts them to come here
May be a few pots close by with roses blooming there
May be a few pigeons cooing and clapping their wings together there
May be anything and nothing but a strange silence reigning there
And I tried to reach them with a bee sense
And befriend to find them like flowers in a vase
But they smell many things
Hovering over near the access
Smelt me as if i was trying to enter the colony
To steal away their queen lodged in that home stately
Thus ended up being rose-stung in many a place
And left with marks of pheromone on my sleeves
Back home with a lesson bitter- sweet
But they are wonderful little souls excelling us in many a respect
Like in smell, touch, taste
And sight
What a lovely poem. In a few seconds I was able to take a glimpse of these bees.roaming around a house with blooming roses. Beautifully crafted write with superb imagery.10++++
