Before Morn
- - - - - - - - -
Forward march she feared
As she saw a big storm gathering
While crossing a river
In a boat with a warrior
The boat was small
And the storm was severe
Any moment they could be drowned
As the storm riding roughshod over
But calm and quiet
The man was throughout
As if nothing was happening
And the woman was trembling
Are you not afraid?
She asked the man
Are you dumb or a stone
As death seemed certain
The man laughed
Took the sword out of its sheath
And brought closer to her throat
She looked puzzled and out of breath
Are you not afraid?
The man asked the woman
Now she laughed
And said why should I be afraid
For I know you love me
And the sword is in your hands
This is exactly the case with our God
The man said
I know God loves us
And the storm is in his hands
Thus being restless instead
Watch in silence thy wise way
Bringing about results good or bad
None could have predicted

A wonderful poem, our lives are in God's hands so there is no point in worrying too much, what will be, will be! !

Beautiful poem. I loved the way you presented it. Very true said, one has to believe in God, believe in self, even if the storm arise one can safely reach the shore. I know God loves us And the storm is in his hands Thus being restless instead Watch in silence thy wise way....Nothing can be predicted. Remaining calm in any situation is better than being restless. Loved reading it.

If we can strongly abide in God and believe that God will take care of us in all adversities, our unnecessary fears will vanish as a child feels ever secure in his father's or mother's hands! Great write!
