Baring Of Soul Poem by john tiong chunghoo

Baring Of Soul

my favourite pastime
listening to buddhist chants
listening to reading of koran
listening to reading of
the bagavad geetha
well teachings clash
but who cares when
my greatest love is to hear
human beings baring their souls
the god part is beyond my reach
i am an elementary human
still trying to find the way to Him
so that I could bare my own soul

An enjoyable write; however, God is within our reach. Please check out these poems of mine for some hope and inspiration: 'Waiting on You', 'Heavenly Invitation', 'Petitions to God' and 'A Sinner Like Me'.
