Awesome Autumn
Awesome Autumn tiptoes with
the rustling sound of fallen leaves.
The leafletstwirl and whirl on fall
to paint theground in vibrant hues
like yellow, green plus red and brown.
Whistling wind, with tunes in lips
fondled leaves and blooming blooms
The borders of the garden brighten
with coral reddish yew berries.
Hollyhocks and Marigolds
blossom in a dazzling blaze.
The wide and emerald mountain slops
dapple with red bramble leaves.
Birds chirp to say loudly that
"Farewell summer, hail Autumn".
With umpteen multicoloured rays
the Sun streaks the sky with shades.
The harvest moon in the starry night
watches nature's beauty with an awe.
Wispy wind steals Cypress scents
to shower the same wherever it goes.
The twisting vines and strapping shrubs
swing on their stalks together to
roll out a crimson carpetfor
the prettiest season among the four.
I like to watch the sun ray's play,
making forms and shadows,
down on the earth.
In a gust of wind it looks like that
the sun has fallen down from the trees.
