as the mountains echo
unsung songs
the walls of solitude
protect me
the roar of traffic recedes
the glare of neon lights fades
i'm alone, yet not lonely
silence means more
than a thousand words
i know you are with me
in the truest sense
i discover my peace
with a silent companion
