Leaving behind everything as this mind thinks of what lies
ahead, giving in to the feelings of departure that seem to
be luring this being now on earth.
Getting rid of unnecessary things in life, giving away
treasures to family and friends, wanting only a few things
to hold onto until the end.
Getting prepared for the last moments of living here on
earth with quiet resolve, anticipating once again, the
wonder of death, dying and going to heaven.
Actually looking forward to passing, for life has been
full and my purpose is almost fulfilled, just awaiting
God's decision to take me home with Him once again.
