An Ode To A Salmon Poem by Athena Hood

An Ode To A Salmon

Rating: 3.5

Salmon fish from the sea,
How satisfied you make me
Is it weird to love thee?
My ardor for you is extraordinary
With your pink meat and beautiful scales
You woo me unlike other males
You are of a lower species
But that doesn't cease me
To adore and pay reverence
To eat you so voraciously

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is quite a silly poem that I had just written while I was thinking of what to eat during dinner. As you can see, I love salmon. So here goes a poem about it.
