Thank you, Lord for everyday
Though things don't always go my way
Thank you, Lord for my friends
Our interests and thoughts always blend
Thank you Lord for my big family
For their love and care, that I'd reciprocate happily
Thank you, Lord for your blessings
No need for fancy things
I am not perfect, in fact I sin
But you have always let me in
I am not perfect, I have been bad
To see you on the cross is too sad
I am not perfect, I caused harm
There you are, extending to me your arms
Thank you, Lord for everyday
In Jesus' name I pray
