Should I say thank you
For leaving the spot you were once in
Or should I hate you
For not filling it in

Should I love you
Even if you love someone else
Should I trust you
Even if all you did was let me down

Should I forget you
And move on with my life
Or should I remember you
As a beautiful memory
That once made me smile
And forget the world for a while

Should I call you
When you are my midnight thought
Or should I delete your number
And bring back all the stuff you bought

Should I say hello
Or should I say goodbye
To whatever we had
That will never come back
