Persian Nightingale

An Invincible Summer Poem by Persian Nightingale

An aura of humility
An aura of gentility
The vision
Conveys

To the landscape
Of hazy outlines
Added a note of sunshine
Craze

The summer sun alone
Can cause hearts
To pine
For the maize

To sunflower
Persian Nightingale
Sings
A hymn of praise

Raise your eyes
Raise your spirit
From the dead
Raise
