Always Wanting More Than We Find We Have

Rating: 4.0

Talented musicians upon a stage before us, challenging our
minds to extremes while listening to them playin, rising
and falling, never getting hurt.

Rhythms filling the void between us and the ground, surfac-
ing like a dolphin leaping into the air and disappearing
into depths of the ocean.

A moment in time marked in a memory that'll be written down
in lines of prose, moving forward, keeping minds on track
with what they're going through in this human life.

Somehow never being satisfied, always wanting more than we
find we have, an extension of some future vision that goes
spiritedly in and out of our minds.

Never allowing itself to get caught, not wanting to be a
slave to anything, wishing to wander about universes and
other dimensions that take away fear and doubt.

Ones that may somehow accumulate in surrounding thoughts
spilling out, looking up, hoping to be picked up and brought
to a leisurely place in an interior intellect.

There all will be laid to rest in a boundless energy that's
been set afire, never blown or put out until death takes us
by turn into the tunnel of light without a single thing we
once had on earth, going out like we came in - naked.
