All Days Are Not Created Equal Poem by Max Jason Wallace

All Days Are Not Created Equal

It was simply a typical day in the life, nothing really special,
Facing the same ole grind, I was feeling rather down and low,
Then suddenly, it appeared, breath taking and oh so regal,
In the cloud filled sky, it was a magnificent and vibrant rainbow.

Frozen in my tracks, stunned, I stood in wondrous awe,
I couldn't believe this amazing sight was made just for me,
It was inspiring, majestic and perfect, without a single flaw,
This was truly, the most heavenly vision, I will ever see!

My mind was spinning in circles, my heart a swirling flutter,
How fortunate was I to be a witness this tremendous sight
Then a thought came to me, and I began to curiously wonder,
To keep this spectacle to myself, just didn't seem at all right.

Then as quickly as it appeared, it quietly slipped away,
I couldn't help but feel an intense personal sense of loss,
The highlight to what had become such a wonderful day,
It was a priceless experience, well beyond all imaginable cost.
