Alas! I Could Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Alas! I Could

Rating: 4.8

O, my love make me shining star
Though I am not near but very far
I have to be away for particular reason
But I shall come to you without any season

Spell out and tell, will you ever leave me?
How to forget those moments and shade under the tree?
I tried to forget but couldn’t believe eyes
I could not even utter word for simple byes

why have I slight doubt in you or disbelief?
Is it shaking my nerve and belief?
Will it not give me any relief?
Will you not turn up and explain it for brief?

We met by chance and all of sudden
Tree was in boom and fruits were laden
I had all vigor in but kept it forcibly hidden
Worries were so much and I remained with it ridden

I knew from my heart that you will come
I shall stand at the gate to greet you and welcome
I imagined you may move fast and embrace
Two souls may meet and be lost without any trace

Will you make it reality and realize it soon?
I may brace for up for any eventuality and run for you in the noon
Will that day ever come in my life and shine?
Will I be able to believer and consider you as mine?

I don’t want to grow and speculate amidst uncertainty
I used to visit all temples and deities
I had only one request to be made
Make me worthy and acceptable to wed

Everybody in` life desire for suitable match
They may even consider it as precious catch
It definitely plays important role and influence
Life gets settles as soon as you marry at once

You need not gout and search for good bride
It is definitely a surprise and matter of pride
You won’t know when good offer will be made
It is holy bond and doesn’t result out of trade

Don’t leave me alone under the dark clouds?
Make it known to world with words so loud
let your foot steps be heard at my door with sound
I may look toward to my new love to be found

I see at the sky and find celestial bodies always smile
They provide you the clue and secrets of life for a while
It is how we take the message and act wisely in life
The relationship is so holy and bride is to be accepted as wife
