Airport Scenario
… And finally when the time came
For me to proceed to the Immigration Gate
And for us to depart;
You gestured to me for a light embrace,
That eventually turned into a bear's hug.
Our quivering lips were soundless,
But we could hear and feel
The pulsations of our throbbing hearts.
When you were visible no more,
One thought kept lingering in my mind;
How well you fit into my arms!
