Africa-The Throne Of God Poem by Astell Collins

Africa-The Throne Of God

Rating: 3.0

God, you are so holy
And your righteousness covers me
For you I am thirsty
But I feel so unworthy

Darkness desires my soul
But your grace echoed no
Evil tried to make me afraid
Again you whispered, with my blood I’ve paid

So many wrongs I have committed
Yet your love was never diluted
I prayed asking, why is your presence so strong in Africa?
You replied, because that is where you call khaya?
