He Called Me Poem by Astell Collins

He Called Me

He called me
In the valleys of my sins
And when I felt like giving in
He called me
Even when I was mucked
And felt that I should duck
He called me
When I was filled with doubt
And there were no words in my mouth
He called me
And whenever I felt guilty
And of my many sins unashamedly
I am so grateful that He called me
