'Ubuntu-the pulse of reconciliation'

As a people that testifies about togetherness
We have embraced the power of our oneness
And as we abide under the grace of our Lord
His love transformed us, making it more than a word

We have to learn from our history
And to discover and rule our destiny
Unity is our identity
As harmony decorates our humanity

It is time to maximize our liberty
As compassion becomes our responsibility
We have risen to be the pride of our country
As we demonstrate our collective creativity

Our strength is reflected in our weakest
And the poor receives our acts of kindness
What affects you also affect me
And what diminishes you also diminish me

We have become the light
And our benevolence brings delight
We represent to latter house thus the glory is greater
And through forgiveness we have become better

In spite of unimaginable cruelty
We became an example of democracy
Apartheid challenged our human dignity
But UBUNTU restored the essence of our humanity
