Adults Are Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Adults Are

What is there to afraid
In light or when darkness is laid
When whole world has come to dead sense
It should never make us tense?

Light is to be feared
When truth is distanced
The evil is adopted
And goodness is stopped

Same way night blindness
Must cause us distress
Not we alone witness ugly scene
But it can be seen too (by an almighty)

The adults are easily drawn
Into such game of their own
Full day time they are involved
And consequences not understood

For them day and night makes no difference
As they don’t draw right inference
They have only to fear
And bear

Adults Are
