Adoration Poem by DEEPAK KUMAR PATTANAYAK

Adoration

Rating: 5.0

The sad episode of life is that
One has to comply with its truth
And you will have to one day
May be tomorrow or today
So will I
None could deny
Can a child be denied a mother's sacred bosom?
Can a bee be denied a flower's blossomed velvet atrium?
Can a moon be denied a sea's mirrored sanctorium?
Can I be denied a love's timeless flame?
That has been keeping me bustling since the time of antiquity
For we are bound by eternity
We were and would be born time and again
In this land you as my mother and I as your son
Till the sun and the moon close their eyes
And this land, this land would be but a phantom with no stars in skies
