Adagio Poem by Nicola Thoner

Adagio

How long will it take

to destroy her?

Each touch

A gentle curve

Carving snakes onto her back.

Drawing out the clandestine feminine

And then expecting her to serve you

You don't know what it means

To love darkly

Her breath comes in waves

Resonate through her body

Think she's lost but she's still searching

underneath all that passion.

So pure, So tainted

You wonder how she exists at all.
