About Her Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

About Her

Rating: 5.0

I could not bring myself to look away
She was crossing the road and walked on the way
Fantastic with approach, she looked straight
I glanced at her but silently preferred to wait

She did come over to other side
I called her name with little loud tone
She looked back and we were same again
Love birds to sing and silently remain

“You have beautiful nose” she whispered
I wondered about why did she chose?
I thought it might be some feelings inside
But she was deep with emotions and confided

My cheeks turned red
I was forced to be led
Her lips murmured something more
She failed with attempts to adore

It was as if under the spell of snake’s charm
But no fear of any harm
She might have trusted me as anybody else
I loved her from heart with lovely presence

Oh no, Oh no, she still spoke
I was moved too but not joked
She was under my care
I failed to think anything about her
