A Walk Alone! Poem by Abhishek Tiwari

A Walk Alone!

Rating: 4.1

I have no answers nor
any questions to ask...

Neither any wound piercing me hard
then why this aching heart? ?
Why this pain? ?

Created, destroyed and was resting in peace...
Nourished, flourished and destroyed again to be rested in peace...

I thought it was simple but
Oh lord!
Life is a whirlwind failing to cease...!

No hunger, no thirst...
No desire, no lust...
My needs are so hazy my dreams so blurred...
What do I want?
Why the aching heart? ?

The clouds, the breeze, the trees, the rain..
Once they made me as happy as clam..
Why they no more tickle my brain...
All that is left is a harrowing pain...

Everyday I feel scared of the setting sun...
All it hails is a lengthy dark night to come...
Everynight the same wall, the window
the bed, the pillow and my dry eye...
Which have no more tears to cry...

From 'a walk to remember'
To this walk alone...
The life no more has any magic to perform...

What did I lose? ?
What did gain...?
The answer is this agonising pain...
The more people think I laugh...
The more piercing is the pain...! !
This is why this agonising pain...! !

Thank you for asking me to comment on your poem although I don't know more than anyone else about poetry. Every poet is an expert on his own poems because his (or her) poems represent the Kingdom God gave to that special, unique child. I believe this. Your pain is very great and comes through the words. This is the root of great poetry, keep writing but also please look for small moments of happiness and write of them too. The small happy moments can shed a greater light than you might imagine right now at the beginning of your life. Best Wishes from Mary Angela Douglas

hey there i'm here as requested: D so, i truely found it a great piece of yours, so deep and true...and it has emotions. i would suggest to turn the two lines of the second part to this Created, destroyed and was resting in peace... Nourished, flourished and destroyed just to be rested in peace... so all the lines be the same length. also change this My needs so hazy my dreams so blurred to My needs are so hazy and my dreams are so blurred hope i helped kepp it up smiley

I feel the same as Mary Angela Douglas about finding life to be much happier than you could even imagine. It's the restlessness of your youth. Enjoy riding these rapids before you become the calm river

Honest flow of turbulent emotions, that has no answers or questions, just the realization of the passing of happiness all I can say is from a quote This too will pass! You write from your heart and soul with such honesty, beautiful!
