1.
That evening, with my lover
I went to the villa of Dingo,
The Chappal Thief who lives with his mom..
Insearch of my lover's chappal
That went missing yesterday
In the house of a fortune-teller!
Two old ladies, out there stood
Lamenting for the charges made
Cried, that Dingo was innocent
Dingo's mom showed us
Lots of Chappals of many a colour and kinds
Green, Blue, Red, Yellow, Blue and Black
High-heeled ones, somewith straps
And even a few worn out ones
Of poor girls too..
In a big room, full of Chappals!
Dingo's sister, was making fun of us
From behind a pillar, inside the villa, there!
Just when we're coming down the stairs,
Carryingall curses from the two old ladies
We'd spotted Dingo with a blind girl
Wearing my lover's Chappal
Before the ice cream vendor, in the street, there!
We crossed Ding and the blind girl
Without uttering any word!
2.
This time
I met Dingo
Two days back
In a Market Street!
Holding a pair of Chappals
In his hand,
He was so tense..
In his head, was a round cap
Worn by Chinese!
Moving in the vehicle,
I shouted
"Dingo..You are a Poet"
Dingo..stood frozen
In shock
Like a Statue
Standing still
Even after long ages!
3.
By the time when
Dingo's first poem was published
He had had given up
Stealing chappals
I'd admitted him as a craftsman
In a carpentry shop..
I showed him
His first poem in print
In our lunch!
His eyes showed
That he was heavily moved
A snake passed by
A little far away!
4.
A line written
In Dingo's Bathroom read
"EVILS DARE NOT A POET"
In his drawing room
Was seen a portrait of
Evil mockinga poet
From behind a tree..
A line from Dingo's poem
Goeslike this..
"ME...THE KING EVILS"
