A Single Tear-Iron Eyes Cody Poem by ERNEST CLARY

A Single Tear-Iron Eyes Cody

Rating: 5.0

As he pondered on pollution
I could see his fear
looking for solution
expressed with a tear
without saying a word
his eye blurred
his heart stirred
a single tear
people heard

Perhaps a poem about the one who really cares about the increasing pollution and trys to raise a cause of its eradication but to no avail that makes him cry heard by the people. Best Wishes Naseer

I remember the Iron Eyes Cody commercials from years back. You've penned a fair and stirring tribute to his cause here. A short but profound piece. tfs
