A Semi Dream State
As I float around
in a semi dream state
I see a grassy field
with coloured flowers
none of which I know by name
I just see their beauty
and feel a dream like peace
It's a place you feel safe
and want to stay
Even though it's just a dream
it's real to me
Beautiful Dave, we all need a dream to step into when life gets us down.

This reminds me of the times I am not quite asleep, nor quite awake; it really can be a time of some of the most fascinating dreams, and you are absolutely right, they do seem so real at times. A great poem Dave, like it very much.
