A rose is not a rose
if on the nose.
Not only is its beauty
an inborn duty
but, unlike unwashed vagrants
it must have fragrance.

As a Florist Herbert, I adore roses, although no one every buys me any, I wonder why? Commercially grown roses don't have much perfume, but find a lovely garden rose and Wow! It's perfection. What a nice poem short but sweet smelling! Sincerely Ernestine.
