A Poetic Voice Poem by Eric Bult

A Poetic Voice

Why does my voice so often criticise
The conduct of affairs surrounding me?
It seems the circumstances that my eyes
Observe determine my capacity.
As every action must result then in
Reaction so my just approval or
My ire finds reason in my underpin
By direct reference or metaphor.
Whereas most others find it difficult
To come to terms with matters they despise,
For me such issues never do result
In tendency to over dramatize.

My verse provides an opportunity
For citicism with impunity.
