A Poem, And A Kiss Poem by Elena Sandu

A Poem, And A Kiss

Rating: 5.0

Once upon a time
Proud, the kiss at poem
Looked, and spoke down:
Hey you smart one!
No matter how you rhyme
You'd never touch my heights
Just look at us!
We're loved by everyone
The livings kisses want
At any given time!
But the poem said:
All right dear kiss
Your points, cannot be missed.
They perfectly agreed. Then,
gave the kiss, a kiss.
And, to be written,
Jumped back, on poet's lap.
Years and years went by
The poem is still read
But those proud kisses?
Nowhere to be found.

Moral:
Much pride can quickly fade
Goes just the same it came
But if your poem is
Written from a simple kiss
May keep an open door
Towards love's infinite.
