A Pirate Poem by Nyx C Styx

A Pirate

Some say love be more pain than pleasure
I say tis some quest for treasure
to ride against the sun and tide
to sail against the seas and oceans wide
to finally find some forgotten chest
to still the beatings of this breast
and even if it empty be
priceless are these dreams of thee
and you the treasure and I
some pirate against the seas and sky

Some say, How can poetry Your pleasure be? It's poems like this dreamy one That make you love it even more Than you ever did before As if your romance with great poetry Had just begun! For poetry, if God permit Still has the best songs to be sung. That make you feel, life's just begun! This poem is beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Thank you!
