A New Kind Of Solitude Poem by Nyx C Styx

A New Kind Of Solitude

Rating: 4.5

Unbeknownst, my heart had all this love contained
When you, the Sun, washed out all my pain once rained
yet you left me standing out so very dry
and not a tear I had left to ever come to cry

You taught me never again to walk, so all I did was run
I never saw the moon again, when I chased the Sun
Yet here I stand with the silence and the time
trying to compose my loneliness in lines of rhyme

'trying to compose my loneliness in lines of rhyme' I understand, and you do it so well, As if loveliness were, a poetic spell.
