For all the people who live in this world
Surrounded by the roaring extensive ocean,
A person who wants to be simple and humble,
Saying that it is not for the sake of getting
Familiarity and greatness with respect, is a lie!

குறள் வெண்செந்துறை
ஆர்கலி யுலகத்து மக்கட் கெல்லாம்
பெருமைநோ னாதோன் சிறுமைவேண்டல் பொய்.8
பொய்ப் பத்து, முதுமொழிக் காஞ்சி
