A Perfect World Poem by Anand Rai

A Perfect World

IF IT WERE
If I could take just a drop of your pain and so will a million others and theirs us, how cool the world would be.
If I could share a piece of my happiness to you and to him as well her and so on and so do they too, wouldn't that be great?
If you could take a moment to feel sorry and leave out the blaming part for another day, would there be a reason to fight?
If you could take a minute to praise the effort and shut your eyes of the failures, how happy would I be and so would everyone.

If what I always want is exactly opposite of what you want, there will be no reason to fight over a delusional goal,
If the fiery words that you spoke fell upon me like flowers and so did mine upon you, all there shall be is the blooming of a beautiful dawn,
If the weakness of the anger you have is drawn into the strength of forgiveness and I do too, how happy the world would be,
If you could see the goodness in me and me of you, the evil would forever be swallowed.

If you realise what I feel when you say the words you wouldn't want me to say to you, there will rise no reason to say and break each other apart,
If competition rose as a reason to smile for all and not just one victor, I you we and everyone will smile for the stage shall be filled,
If you could get rich by giving the most, there won't be a single person who shall be poor,
If you could just smile to change the world, the world shan't be changed but you shall see it changed.

If you could see that all that is wrong is in your eyes and get it fixed, you shall see wrong no more,
If change is all you ever want, change is all you ever need to do,
If happiness and love are all you crave for, that is all you need to give,
For if you can't see the picture all you need to do is open your eyes.
