A Past Behind Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

One has to leave behind the past
you can't live with it and go very fast
it has nothing to do with ups or down
you must analyze mistakes and try to own

Even animals go in search of food
they know how to survive in wood
there is no one to teach them how to hunt?
they do not run away even if forest is burnt

We are here to survive and stand
we may be surrounded by foes or friends
we got to live with prevailing situation
it may end one day without further continuation

some people grow like tall tree
doesn't come out of cage and feel free
the world seems to them illusory
they a dejected and feel very sorry

One goes in natural way but of no use
Gain tallest stature but remain confused
who can help them if they can't act?
they may express anger and react

They grow from adult to childhood
the life is never understood
the world was same as this before
why do we lament therefore?

We can't run away from the scene
the cowards may flee and are often seen
we are gifted with little intelligence
we also know who to tide over and live in presence

It always better to stand firm
not to deviate but stand to confirm
this may give additional leverage
it will help to get rid off and manage

Everybody may be having some problems
They will try to understand and tackle them
it is not easy but not difficult either
it may not stay but gradually wither

we should wait for opportunity
it is in the hands of almighty
it will be offered you on better terms
it may take off all your concerns

We might have faced lot of difficulties
it might have also lead to uncertainty
still it has not left you high and dry
you must rise with double speed and try

If you are called a frustrated person
they have logic or some solid reasons
You may not be realizing grave consequences
though you had witnessed many instances

Life is all about to accept the challenges
it may appear or bother us at at any stage
half battle is won if we stand fast
it may trouble you but may not last

let us do it once again
we must learn and train
the area remains wide open
come out of it even if anything happens
