When you spoke the words you spoke
I remembered
When I replied with heartfelt, you thought it as a joke
I wanted to forget
When you hid away your feelings as I bare mine
I longed
When you came back with hurtful truths and lies
I knew it wasn't over yet
When we fought it out and I died inside
I felt a sad song
When you said I was nothing anymore
I questioned
When you said it was time to make amends
I knew what was destined

When you still had unkind words for me
I knew it was not that of a friend

I knew, though heartbreaking
This stained friendship must end
