A Friend You Are To Me

Rating: 5.0

What a friend you are to me,
as you always are these days.
You've touched my heart and changed my soul,
in so many amazing ways.

What a friend you are to me,
to catch my tears while they fall.
Your shoulder is wet, but I haven't seen yet,
a complaint from you at all.

What a friend you are to me,
to support me every time.
Even when I'm wrong as dirt.
You let me learn, and trust I'll be fine.

What a friend you are to me,
to pick me up off the ground.
For in my clumsy, foolish ways,
right there, my place is surely found.

What a friend you are to me,
to forgive quickly and me never say a word
For I rarely beg forgivness,
and the word, for you, is rarely heard.

What a friend you are to me,
to simply be my friend
even when a thanks is the last thing on my lips.
you're surely there till the end.
