My Plea For You Poem by kimber harrison

Oh, what little I have,
to give to you this day.
My heart is aching and my hands are shaking,
and I'm thinking hard on what to say.

I want to make you proud,
if it can happen with no one else.
I want to be the girl you deserve,
I want to shine and radiate through my inner-self.

I pray, Oh God, I pray,
and oh how I scream inside,
to be the one who deserves your love,
who leans on you instead of the lies.

And, God, you are so great,
and gloryous and mighty and high,
to accept my plea for you!
And with you,
I now reside.
