A Drop Of Drizzle Poem by Indira Renganathan

A Drop Of Drizzle

Rating: 4.8

All dark clouds are thieves
Light is stocked and nowhere found
By chance one thief drops a pearl
Lighted is the heart

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This poem has a semblance of a Syllogism and a Haiku but with a difference of four lines. A reasoning in the second line is added coherent to the first line. Therefore I think I can give the name 'Syllogistic Haiku' to this form of poem. Syllable count--5,7,7,5
