060910a Clasping Hands

i’ve seen ripples of
blinding lightning abound
i’ve heard slew of
thunders hit the ground
i’m scared like little kid;
i covered my face with my hand
but i didn’t run; instead
i watched and held my mound

today i’ve seen the same
only muted by my mind
i know it will subside
and peace be on my side
i could go out pick mushrooms
good for the brain i’ve known
i could be muddy i can wash
and be good looking as it was
