030710...And I Have To Walk For Gas

as i turn right to exit ramp
i felt a shudder and motor died
i turn on emergency road light
i let it cool down a bit then start
it shakes then runs, i slowly shifted gear
it rolled smoothly, what a life saver

i can see the gasoline station
about a mile away, i'm coasting
i'm holding on with all my hope
then suddenly it puff and shudder
i hit a pot hole, i bump my head
i open the door and kick the tires
