There is a saying that paper never refuses ink, but what if it could
There would be no evil written, there would be only good.
You would not get that letter that broke your heart
You would only get best wishes, when you were apart
...
She wakes in the morning not sure of the day
Not knowing where she's been, not knowing what to say.
Her world has become a scary place
She looks in the mirror, who owns that face?
...
Its only days now to the big day, Santa coming soon.
Christmas is at our doorstep and I should be over the moon.
My family is not complete were missing one of our parts
It feels like some one has reached in and stolen a piece of my heart.
...
I was just sitting here wondering what it's all about.
Why run around so much, just take another route
We are all so busy doing nothing, to enjoy what we've got.
Why not just take a moment and peruse your lot
...
I am just an ordinary man trying to get over life's speed bumps as best I can. Writing helps to cleanse the soul and its something which I enjoy.)
We Decide
There is a saying that paper never refuses ink, but what if it could
There would be no evil written, there would be only good.
You would not get that letter that broke your heart
You would only get best wishes, when you were apart
The postman would have no bills to delivery to you
You would only have parcel and voting cards to do.
There would only be shares on your bank account
No mention of whatever you owed or the amount.
But it would not allow you to write down your foolish ideas and dreams
Because it would not realise it's not always what it seems.
It could not grasp the concept of not thinking at all
Just writing down words until you hit that wall.
There would be no place for the whimsical mind
To unleash all the stuff, that we might never find.
By paper not refusing to decide if it's wrong or its right
Will allow us to open our minds, to let in more light.
