I do not think we realize
To what extent we criticize
We take for granted someone’s feelings
And talk about their off time dealings

A nice fat worm
A fishing pole
A nice quiet

I see a world
Where love exists
The source
Of everything

Pardon me for a moment while I write this little poem
I know that you are tired and don’t want to be alone
The urge has just now struck me to put these words to rhyme
Hush your crying and I’ll be with you in just a little time

On the brink of destruction
We turned back the clock
We opened our hearts
Annihilation we stopped

When will we wake up? Are we all insane? Is there really no hope? Who is to blame? We go about life with blinders on cause that’s how we’ve been trained.
