Malory Joyce Poems

Daddy said,

He would tell me he loves me,
and he'd say many other things too.
...

Lord I have sinned.

I have taken your name in vain,
such a dirty mouth upon me.
...

A depressed mind,
with an apathetic motivation,
let closed eyes be blind,
have them find me determination,
...

Tonight I couldn't sleep
So I prayed to the Lord
to send an angel to kiss me.
Then when I fell asleep
...

5.

My thoughts were convinced that love
shouldn't be so hard to withhold,
if love existed within the relationship
then we were bound together.
...

Lucky that my hair is long enough
for you to cut,
now you have plenty of times
to get it right.
...

I walked barefoot in an open field today
the sky was blue,
the clouds were white,
and the sun smiled upon may.
...

Mirror on the wall give reflection,
show what they can not see.
Mirror reflect on their direction,
the one that needs to be seen.
...

There was a time she bent down low
saving me from gravity
for reaching up high on my tippy toes
clearly there was no doubt she loved me.
...

Her Brown eyes couldn't still
when I spoke,
they'd roll around and around,
until my mouth closed,
...

My angel,
the filler of my emptiness
the one whisper away to it all
come lie in my happiness.
...

Your breath was beer,
could make any nose smother;
buckled my seat belt with fear:
ready to take a ride with my mother.
...

The world will only go on
to disappoint me,
and everyday is just another chance,
of having such resentment.
...

Just a girl looking for her own piece of mind,
but piled underneath other opinions.
The heavier the pile, the weaker I become,
and I am just a needle in a hay stack.
...

Tears fall,
everything starts to fade,
almost can't see at all,
and a blurry sight the tears have made.
...

I wear your key around my neck
holding on tight to it
trying to keep you with me.
...

I am numbered down and numbered last.

best friend, close friend, good friend.
well dear friend,
...

I have something to say...
but I just can't say it.

I don't know what it is I want to say,
...

Nothing feels right
when i know your upset
only because
she caused all this,
...

You made me smile and got yourself
onto my list.
Wakening my memory,
the stained reminders of existence.

Daddy Said

Daddy said,

He would tell me he loves me,
and he'd say many other things too.
That if I were to believe,
trust will only fall and descend.
When I gave out my heart
I wouldn't receive it back again.

Daddy said,

They would tell me they're here for me,
and they'd go many other places too.
That if I wanted to see,
their hands will cover my eyes.
When they were tired of truth,
I wouldn't hear anything but the lies.

Daddy said,

They would do that to me,
and they will do many other things too.
That if I let them be,
one by one my strings will be pulled.
When they could make music,
I wouldn't hear the end of being fooled.

Daddy said,

He is the only man for me,
and there will be other ones too.
That if I wanted to breathe,
he'd do his best to supply air.
When I let myself accept,
I wouldn't cry over the world being unfair.
