My Angel Poem by Malory Joyce

My Angel

My angel,
the filler of my emptiness
the one whisper away to it all
come lie in my happiness.
Under the covers
where we secure ourselves
giving us the title of two lovers
walking the boundaries of heaven.

Hold my hand,
let me kiss your fingers
one by one till again
I come back to those soft lips.
just push me back
and I come again towards you-
my only sweetest thought
of interest.

Showing me all the messages
I wrote to you over phone,
hands over my face
smiling, laying prone.
you set it beside me,
and through my fingers i peek,
there the screen, here im laughing
till my stomach is weak.

Taking off your t-shirt,
while putting nerves over me,
laying back down, i lean over you
touching your body.
Its a feel of softness
with a tint of six packing it,
telling me
that I have this.

My lips are now numb,
and my eyes have become heavy,
night was forever ago,
dawn is our last chance for sleeping.
Your arm around my waste,
laying down with you singing
over my head and inside my ear,
just singing,
little cute things.

Early morning,
you have to labor away,
time for work,
and i have to stay.
Morning breakfast together,
and you put me back into bed,
making sure im tucked in,
then a kiss on the forehead.

I hear the door shut,
and out of bed i go,
so much for being tucked in,
i watch you out the window.
sleeping in your bed isn't the same,
without you there,
i just try to imagine you,
but its only me here.

My angel,
the filler of my emptiness
the one whisper away to it all
come lie in my happiness.
Under the covers
where we secure ourselves
giving us the title of two lovers
walking the boundaries of heaven, once again.
