Lucky That Poem by Malory Joyce

Lucky That

Lucky that my hair is long enough
for you to cut,
now you have plenty of times
to get it right.
Lucky that your
more tall than I am,
now you don't have to feel
inferior to me.

baby I would wear high heels just so
I can reach to kiss you,
good thing my feet will be sore though,
then you can rub them after.

Lucky that you love
to take pictures of me,
now I have a reason to
dress all pretty.
Lucky that you wake up early
now I don't have to wait
for you to shower
in the morning.

baby I would climb a mountain
just to do your laundry.
good thing I know you will be home
so we can get them dirty.

Lucky that we both are stubborn,
now we don't have to become reliant
to each other.
Lucky that theres ten million
ways to love, now it wont be
hard to chose one.

Lucky that we are both together,
now we can feel that lucky.
