Lord Shall Hang The Dreamcatcher Poem by Malory Joyce

Lord Shall Hang The Dreamcatcher

A depressed mind,
with an apathetic motivation,
let closed eyes be blind,
have them find me determination,
for my opened eyes
cannot.

put aside my self-righteousness,
write my prayers on paper,
and inside a prayer box my prayers be.
Place them underneath my pillow,
for the lord to read.
if he finds my heart sincere
Lord shall hang the dream-catcher,
above where I sleep,
and take away my nightmares,
that depress me.
